This sought-after motivation was the stepping stone for his next endeavor, Etomic Companies. 

ETOMIC fueled the hunger for what would become a portfolio of companies, beginning in 2001 with the first secure file management and sharing application; a creative marketing, design and interactive hosting company and a social networking music community in 2008. Also under the umbrella of ETOMIC came the creation of Carports.com, which became the number one retailer in the United States for outdoor steel products, later resulting with its acquisition in 2008. Jeremiah Johnson propelled the company to an impressive $40M in annual sales within 36 months, including popular destination websites such as Carports.com, MetalGarages.com, and QuickCanopies.com, among others.

While in the steel industry, Jeremiah traveled to China and began his own steel brand, including engineering a new product line with unique patent pending features. Within a short time, he discovered that his invention would bring heavy demand when it hit the US marketplace in 2007. That same year, Mr. Johnson became managing partner of Steel Lending Network Inc., a nationwide lending company that financed residential consumers in the steel industry within the continental US marketplace.

In addition to these impressive accolades, Mr. Johnson has hands-on involvement in the nanotechnology research and development marketplace, real estate development, and is a member of Piedmont Angels Network; a group of private investors who fund high growth and high risk startup companies. Most recently, Jeremiah co-founded Barns.com Inc. along with T-N-T Carports, Inc., the largest outdoor structure manufacturer in the United States. Barns.com is the distributor and first nationwide retailer of metal structures throughout 48 US states, which previously consisted only of small locally-based retailers within the industry.
